Glyco‑N training courses on team building and scientific communication in Naples
On 4–6 March 2026, early-stage researchers involved in Glyco‑N took part in an intensive training initiative in Naples, Italy. The programme combined a full team building day, held jointly with the doctoral candidates of the AUREUS project, and a two-day course on scientific communication and presentation of scientific data.
The joint team building day was held on 4 March at the Centro Congressi Federico II, Via Partenope 36, Naples. Led by Dr Annalisa Corti, Personal Efficiency Specialist and business coach, the day focused on relational efficiency, trust, and collaboration through interactive sessions such as “Relational Efficiency in Action” and “Trust and Order: Navigating the Unknown Together”.
On 5–6 March, the Glyco‑N TSC3 course “Scientific communication and presentation of scientific data” took place at the Department of Chemical Sciences of the University of Naples Federico II. Trainer Dr Alessandra Rossi guided participants through key aspects of scientific writing, including how to structure a scientific article, the submission and revision process, and the use of AI tools in scientific writing.
The course also addressed visual and oral communication skills, with dedicated sessions on poster design and interaction, principles of oral presentations, and the use of lay language for scientific dissemination. Practical workshops allowed participants to work on their own materials, supported by hands-on exercises.
